2017 marks the tenth anniversary of the legendary iPhone, and if sources are to be believed, the company plans an enormous surprise for its fans this year in the form of iPhone 8. The rumour mill suggests that Apple will finally introduce wireless charging across its upcoming iPhone ranges. This will double up with fast wired charging.
In addition, it is rumoured that there will be three new iPhones in 2017 – two incremental ‘iPhone 7S’ upgrades and an all new OLED iPhone 8 / iPhone X introduced to celebrate the 10th birthday of the iconic iPhone. It is suggested that Apple’s next device will be its most expensive yet, exceeding the $1,000 mark for the first time.
That’s not all; Apple will also have a major revamp for the phones introduced in 2017. From a glass body and edge-to-edge OLED display, the phone is rumoured to feature an integrated touch ID fingerprint sensor and front-facing camera.
Predicted to be released in the third or fourth quarter of 2017, we are certain that Apple’s new additions to its phone will keep us all on the edge of our seats, vying for more information and concrete sources.
