Dell Alienware 14, 17, and 18 Rock New Haswell Processor

Dell continues to improve it offerings in order to keep up with the competition. In fact, they unveiled three new gaming laptops at the E3 conference in Los Angeles! The three new gaming laptops, namely Alienware 14, 17 an 18, have Intel’s latest Haswell processor! Aside from that, they’re also sporting a new look!

Dell Alienware Haswell Edition

All three models are designed with programmable LED lights on the lid, in the logo, under the keyboard and around the laptop. Apparently, these LED lights can be synced with the actions going on in the game for a more realistic gaming experience! All three have the same 3.6GHz Intel Core i7 processor as well as Windows 7 as their OS.

To know them a little better, the Alienware 14 comes with a 14-inch WLED HD display with 1366 x 768p resolution. It has Nvidia GeForce GT 750M graphics card with DirectX 11 support. Also intact is 8GB RAM, 750GB standard hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This model costs $1,200.

The Alienware 17 has a 17.3-inch anti-glare WLED HD+ display with 1600 x 900p resolution. Unlike the Alineware 14, model 17 is installed with Nvidia GeForce GT765M discrete graphics. Its starting price is $1,500.

And last but not the least is the Alienware 18 that shows off a huge 18.4-inch WLED 1080p display. Its Intel Core i7 processor is clocked at 4.3GHz and is matched with Nvidia GeForce GT 765M graphics card. Its other specs are similar to the Alienware 14 and 18. But this model is the most expensive f the three at $2,100.
