Technology is certainly moving at light speed. From USB sticks to SD cards and cloud, there’s no limiting on how to carry your data. However, if you’re someone who prefers to store a ton of digital data in the pocket, here’s the good news.
Kingston Technology has announced the launch of its latest offering – the DataTraveler Ultimate Generation Terabyte, a massive USB flash drive. With up to 2 TB of storage, Kingston claims it’s the highest capacity USB flash drive in the world.
Reports indicate that the small portable device can hold a ton of information — more than 160 HD movies, according to the company. The drive uses USB Type-A connector. Also, it will not be radically fast, as it uses USB 3.0 and not the faster USB 3.1 generation 2.
The USB drive is said to be shipped in February in both 1 TB and 2 TB sizes, however, there has been no concrete news on the price. But with all that storage offered on a small drive, don’t expect it to cost you a penny!
