The SAG Awards is another red carpet event thatís too good to miss! Once again the stars tried their best to shine above the rest on the red carpet. But whose star really shone brighter above the rest fashion-wise?
Breast-cancer survivor Giuliana Rancic was red hot in her floor-length Basil Soda gown! And I mean literally red hot because her gown is red with a hint of gold. The gown features a gold belt that accentuated her tiny waist. Her long curly hair tumbling down her shoulders is just the perfect touch to the whole ensemble.
Sofia Vergara always hits it right in red carpet events and this yearís SAG is no exception! She donned an eye-catching and body-hugging raspberry pink Marchesa gown! The crease and fold at the bodice of the gown helped show off her generous assets. She brought the bling on with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
There were two white gowns that stole my attention. One is the LíWren Scott dress worn by Gretchen Mol and the other one is the Marchesa gown worn by Viola Davis. These two gowns have some things in common: both are white and are embellished with gold. Gretchenís gown, however, got her well-covered up while Violaís plunging neckline showed off her cleavage. Both gowns are winners!
Black is also one of the predominant colors at the SAG Awards. For me, the best-dressed celebrities in black are Angelina Jolie, Jayma Mays and Emma Stone! Angie chose a shiny and clingy Jenny Packham gown that features a very low back. She accessorized with huge gold hoop earrings and bangles.
In the same way, Jayma Maysí floor-length Reem Acra gown cannot be ignored! Her black gown was made of sparkly material that made her dazzle under the sun. I just have to mention the back of the gown that features a intricately patterned lace.
Emma Stone chose Alexander McQueen dress for the event! Itís one of the risky numbers on the red carpet but Emma pulled off the look fabulously! Itís also just one of the handful of short outfits at the event. Emmaís outfit featured a fabulous lace bustier that made it look really sophisticated. She rightly paired it up with black peep-toe heels.
