Eleven Jordanian startups gathered as regional finalists in the Seedstars World competition in front of an investment panel to compete and be crowned the most promising seed-stage startup of Seedstars Amman 2016.
While each company pitched their line of business in front of a crowd of onlookers in hopes of advancing on to the global competition, it was Mindrocket that was selected as the best startup in Jordan (it develops assistive technologies for the Deaf Community, using avatars to deliver speech/text to sign language interpretation), followed by Audiogram (it re-invents the way people listen to ringtones on their mobile phone) and Arabot on the 3rd place (a Conversational Artificial Intelligence platform for Arabic language and delivering the first smart Arabic chatbot for businesses) that made it to the finish.
Seedstars World, the global seed-stage startup competition for emerging markets and fast-growing startup scenes has once again given entrepreneurs in Amman the chance to meet, showcase and compete with other selected startups globally.
Mindrockets will now join the global Seedstars family and take part in the regional and global Seedstars Summits that include a tested boot camp and investor forum. The other startups that made it to the finals were Find Early Adopters, FindInterview, Friendture, Moda Gate, Green Wallet, Repzo, Swipt and Trevx.
