The determination to explore the unexplored and the drive to achieve success, led Darine Alashy, a 28 year-old with a major in Computer Graphics, Animation and Filmmaking to set up her dream venture – A Minute Marvel.

Before she gave shape to her venture, Darine at her early career stage started her own animation studio called Panic studio that showcased her unique animation style and passion. Working on experimental video productions mixing between digital animation, traditional animation and real footage, Darine decided to expand her experimental production by learning Fine Arts. Her passion to travel, learn, meet, explore, undertake risks, listen to people and surround herself with inspiring people finally led her to the development of her dream project – A Minute Marvel.

A Minute Marvel is an online community of dreamers and doers, introducing them in a one minute video portrait. It celebrates the accomplishments of the unsung heroes featuring their stories, inspiration and motivation in 60 seconds flat. And to continue the positive momentum, Darine and her dream venture will showcase at The Mobile World Congress (MWC) which will be held in Barcelona from Monday February 27 to Thursday March 2, 2017.
Initiated in 2015, A Minute Marvel might seem like an easy task to a passer-by! However, the challenges faced in setting up were extensive. From production to development, everything required special attention. However, gradually step-by-step, Darine established herself and her start-up, first with the Jordanian community and then regionally. And now the video production house features stories from around the region across different industries, countries and background, sharing the same goals and passion for every achiever!

Darine’s undying dedication and determination has won A Minute Marvel several accolades. It has featured 45 regional stories, won BADIR social enterprise award and also won Women Economic Participation award for the best social impact project.

At the Mobile World Congress, Darine aims to bring to life the achievements of all the people who visit the exhibition. The Mobile World Congress is a biggest mobile industry event – where thousands of visionary leaders and tech-savvy consumers gather to experience a connected life. More than 2,200 companies will exhibit at Mobile World Congress 2017.
