Spring is almost here and while the flowers blossom and the butterflies dance, there are seasonal changes that aren’t welcomed by everyone. Itchy eyes, sore throat, hay fever and congestion are some of the common allergies that come along with spring. While most of the allergies require expert help from doctors, it’s not a bad idea to try some remedies to provide temporary relief.
Here’s a list of our five best home remedies to help fight spring allergies:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is known to increase potassium, which helps fight the allergy for a runny nose. Don’t drink it neat; try diluting it in water or with lemon juice.
Hat and Sunglasses
It will not only make you look stylish and sensational, but both of these will keep pollen from blowing into your eyes and making them an itchy, watery mess.
Pour on the spices to add flavours to your meal. Spices as garlic, ginger, horseradish, hot peppers, hot mustard is strong enough to help fight anti-inflammatories and other allergies.
Aromatherapy and Essential Oils
Mint oils and heat from mint tea help to relax airways and may make breathing easier. In addition, the use of lavender, eucalyptus, rose or peppermint essential oils are considered excellent for hay fever symptoms.
Vitamin C-based foods
