Muslims around the world celebrate the coming of the Holy Month of Ramadan, but they also celebrate the departure of Ramadan as well.
When Ramadan has passed, it’s time for Eid Al Fitr; a feast that gathers family and friends and brings joy and laughter to both children and adults alike.
Eid Al Fitr brings the family together for their first breakfast in 30 days … they gather, celebrate, eat and are merry.
It also is a chance to visit distant family and friends and catch up.
Kids enjoy Eid Al Fitr because of sweets, candy and toys that they can buy with money they receive on this particular day.
One should also remember the unfortunate on this day … An occasion to share the blessing of God with those who are unlucky, poor and miserable.
A kind word, a smile and a gift of money will bring joy and warmth into those sad hearts … this will also bring warmth and Mercy into the hearts of the fortunate, because that’s what true happiness is all about; making other people happy.
On this day, and on the occasion of Eid Al fitr 2016, We would like to wish the world more peace and tranquillity … may this Eid bring joy and happiness into hearts that much need it, may Mercy prevail across the world and especially in war stricken areas.
