Robert Pattinson Takes a Tough Role in Mission Blacklist

Robert Pattinson

Our Twilight favourite Robert Pattinson as a soldier! What do you think of that? Since Twilight filming is over, Rob is diverging into totally different roles and being a soldier in the upcoming film “Mission Blacklist” is one of them.

Rob will have a big role in this movie especially since it’s a true-to-life story by Eric Maddox, the man behind the capture of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein! The 25-year-old actor will play the big man Maddox “Mission Blacklist.” I think it’s going to be a very challenging role for Rob because he needs to be really tough and inflexible like a soldier. It’s going to be an entirely different role from his Twilight character Edward Cullen.

“Mission Blacklist” is described as a “psychological thriller” based on the book written by Maddox entitled “Mission: Blacklist #1” which was co-authored by Davin Seay. It has been adapted into film by Erik Jendresen (Band of Brothers) and will be directed by Jean-Stephanie Sauvaire. It is being produced by Ross M. Dinerstein.

Aside from the role of a soldier in this upcoming flick, you’ll also see Rob in a different role in “Cosmopolis” which will premiere at Cannes later this month. And if you can’t have enough of your fill of Rob also check him out in “Bel Ami” on June 8 and of course the movie we’ve been waiting for “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2.”
