Stars from all over the world have gathered in the Rose City Petra in Jordan this weekend to pay a special tribute to the greatest tenor of all Luciano Pavarotti.
The tribute comes a year after his death and on the day that marks his birthday, 12th October.
Tonight the remaining two tenors, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras will perform to a thousand VIP guests in the ancient city of Petra in a concert held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Haya of Jordan.
Why Petra you may ask? Because this is the place that Pavarotti dreamed of performing at ... he didn't have the chance and now this is a way of saluting him.
The proceeds of the concert will all go to charity, to benefit Afghan refugees and to benefit the local community of Petra.
Other stars present include those known as Friends of Pavarotti like Shakira, Zuccero, Andrea Bocelli and Sting (who are due to perform as well) and U2's Bono will be joining the masses though video-link.
