Nawal Al Zoghbi is going to appear tonight on MBC1 on the show ‘’Akher man yaalam”, where she reveals interesting things about her and an interesting talent you would never have guessed she had; imitating cartoon voices!

The show presenter Arwa asks very personal questions and apparently Nawal speaks honestly about everything starting from her childhood and teenage years. Nawal also addresses the rumors that keep circulating around her.

Oprah did a whole show about texting and driving. People, mostly teens, actually die while doing that! In a new study, the University Of Utah realized that people who text are six times more likely to crash than the people who talk on the phone while driving. Wow! This is really scary right?

Maya Diab, who is very pretty in my eyes, is considering a new Lebanese series, I hope she does I think she was good on “kalam Neswan”. She says she doesn’t want to make a final decission yet she want to read the scenario first, im sure she’s going to be busy since she’s going on a tour with Ziad AL Rahbani for the premiere of ‘’Mniha’’. The tour is going to take place soon in Paris and other Arab cities.

Well, Al Azhar has decided to release their newest Fatwa, banning Egyptians from connection to Facebook, because after deep thought and research, they found out that 1 in 5 divorce cases in Egypt is caused by one of the spouses getting into a relationship with a past lover or finding new love on Facebook!!!

Nancy Ajram is busy as a bee these few days, as she prepares to jet off to Cairo to work on two new songs just in time for Valentine's day!
The first song, entitled "El Hob Mahaddesh Manaao" will be part of her upcoming album, which is her first collaboration with young production company, Arabica Music.
The second song, which is being kept under wraps, is another special Valentine's day surprise for her fans!

Aren’t you going to greet us today? Feb 3 is the day that WALEG came into being! And this year, 2010, marks WALEG’s 6th anniversary! 6 years up and running is quite a milestone. For sure anyone of you who maintain his own site knows that.

Happy 6th Anniversary!

Two years after airing the Iranian historical/religious TV series Yousuf Payambar, which was a huge hit and lots of people around the Arab world watched it and fell in love with Mostafa Zamani, the Iranian actor who portrayed the leading role of Prophet Yousouf in the series, Al Azhar suddenly noticed that such kinds of series should not be allowed to be aired! Hello, almost nobody left who hasn’t heard about it or even watched at least an episode or two!

Did you watch the Syrian TV series Ahl Al Raya (أهل الراية)? If you had a chance to watch it during the last year and you happen to like it, there is good and bad news for you!

The bad news is that Jamal Sulaiman won’t be joining the cast of the second season of Ahl Al Raya, instead Abbas Al Nouri will take the role of Abu Hassan.

The good news for those of you who are fans of Turkish series and especially Turkish actors Tuba Buyukustun (best known as Lamees) and Saruhan Hünel (Asmar), they are supposed to be one of the new characters that will be introduced in the second season!
Information about how much they will get paid and which Syrian actors are going to be the voices of each of them are not yet disclosed.

Personally, I think Abbas Al Nouri is a great actor however the fact of changing actors (of the same character) is a very bad idea and the connection with the personality is usually lost! What do you think?
